Life cannot viewed in one dimension - what is socially acceptable is not neccesarily fair; what is desirable, is not necessarily accessible; what ought to happen is not necessarily in conformity with reality.

They did it..Fun fun!! Now, this is getting interesting.thats 3 losses in a row for Australia …On the other hand, a very fitting win for the Bangladeshis…After the crushing against England, they really came back well to beat the Aussies fair and square!!

Holy crap…Bangladesh is giving Australia a run for their money..They are currently batting at 199/3 after 43 overs chasing 250. 51 needed off 42 balls..This is getting very interesting..
It would be a really BIG upset if they do pull it off..I’ll just have to wait and see.!!

Man, it don’t matter where you come in to bat,the score is still zero.”
-Viv Richards to Sunil Gavaskar at Madras, 1983 Gavaskar had decided to relinquish his opening position and come in at no 4 for that test. But, Malcolm Marshall fired out Anshuman Gaekwad and Dilip Vengsarkar for ducks, setting the stage for Gavaskar to walk in at 0/2.And he thought there would be less pressure!
Ravi Shastri was perhaps the one Indian who consistently gave back better than he got. Like the time Mike Whitney, on the field as substitute, fielded one of his trademark glances, made to throw down the stumps and yelled at Ravi, ‘If you don’t get back in that **^@*^@ crease I’ll knock your %&%@&%&^@ head off!’. To which Ravi goes, ‘Mike, if you could play as well as you can curse, you would be in the ^*^@*^&@ team.
A county bowler who beat the bat of Viv Richards dared tell him the ball was red and weighed about six ounces; Richards hit the next ball for six and replied: “You know what it looks like, now go f—ing find it.”

It seems to me, that this picture pretty much sums up England’s attitude towards the Australians for this summer’s Ashes series. Its going to be a real treat to follow and see what happens. I have a feeling England will compete, but Australia will still come out trumps. We’ll just have to wait and see.
By the way, I believe this picture was taken when Gough bowled his hat-trick ball to Andrew symonds and apparently Symonds got hit in the hand with it..You can see Gough all pumped up..ready for a bloody fight!

OK, so I have been a little slack on posting. But, family comes first - blogging second !!
It was great to have my sister, brother-in-law , uncle and aunty from surat India, in addition to my mom. We had a total blast. My sister and brother in law made it to my work on Thursday afternoon and we all had lunch together with some of my colleages and didi’s past colleages..so it was fun hanging out with them. We celebrated didi’s birthday..Went to the temple, saw an indian movie in the theatre(Bunty and Bubly), went to the mall, drove to Florence SC to drop off my aunt and uncle, drinking bloody mary in florence, and then passing out in the back of the SUV we had rented. It was great, and exhausting at the same time..over a 1000 miles put on my car and the rental together basically sums it up..but I enjoyed every single second of it, and would do it all over again!
